RMAC Announces Track and Field All-Academic Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its outdoor track and field all-Academic teams and Metro State's Jessica Jenkins and Greg Zadina were named to the honor roll, the league announced. To be eligible, individuals must carry at least a 3.20 grade point average, either be a starter or key reserve on her team, and have completed two consecutive semesters at Metro State. This year, for the first time in track and field, the conference sports information directors voted on the first and second teams. Jenkins, a social work major, has a 3.49 grade point average. Zadina, a psychology major, has a 3.54 grade point average. Ten men and 10 women were named to both the first and second teams. Forty-four men and 35 women earned honor-roll distinction.
