Anthony Luna To Run At NCAA Championship

DENVER, COLO. - Metro State's Anthony Luna will compete in the 800 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, May 22-24 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif., the NCAA announced.

Luna's seed time of 1:49.49 currently ranks fifth in the nation. The men's 800-meter prelim race is at 6:35 p.m., PT, Friday, May 23. If he qualifies for the final, it is Saturday, May 24 at 7:05 p.m., PT.

The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships, which feature over 620 participants, are hosted by Cal Poly Pomona.
