Rhoades Dives to Third-Place Finish at NCAA Championships

Sophomore Kenny Rhoades finished third in the three-meter diving competition, Saturday evening at the NCAA Championships at the Univ. of Missouri Aquatic Center in Rolla, Mo. Nate Jimerson of St. Cloud State made it a sweep of the diving competition after capturing the one-meter competition on Thursday. Jimerson finished with 546.15 points to outdistance Brandon Birchak who finished with 498.65. Rhoades finished his season with his fourth career all-American honor. Earlier in the season he set a school record in the three meter with 574.27 points at the Rocky Mounatain Invitational. |
