COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Metro State men defeated Colorado College, 56-49, and McMurry, 58-42, in dual swimming and diving meets, Saturday afternoon at Colorado College.

On the women's side, the Roadrunners dropped duals to Colorado College, 54-41, and McMurry, 57-47.

In the pool for the men, Reid Sutton won the 1000-yard freestyle in a time of 11:29.10, while Ryan Moseman won the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.66) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.48). Jake Haffner won the 200-yard butterfly, while Kevin Braun was second in the 200-yard back and the 400-yard IM.

In the pool for the women, Annika Matlock won the 500-yard free in a time of 5:50.80, while Jessica Shaddock won the 100-yard free (56.75) and was second in the 200-yard free (2:09.41). Elizabeth Michael-Trumbull placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle in a time of 12:29.29.

In the relays, Metro State won both the men's and women's 400-yard freestyle relays.

On the diving board, Kenny Rhoades won both the one-meter and three-meter competitions.

Metro State is at Mesa State, Dec. 8.
